Your Majesty, thank you so much, but I forgot to tell you .. سيدنا، شكراً كتير، بس نسيت احكيلك

تشرفت بلقاء جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني المعظم مجدداً، بعد إجتماع الشباب الناشطين في الاردن، في المنتدى الإقتصادي العالمي 2011 في البحر الميت حيث كنت متحدث في جلسة تأثير الاعلام الإجتماعي الإلكتروني. التقيت بجلالته مرتين الاولى في إجتماع خاص عن مشروع إدخال تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الرعايه الصحيه، والثانيه بعفويه ضمن فعاليات الليلة الاردنيه في المنتدى الإقتصادي العالمي.

في الاجتماع الخاص عن مشروع فريق العمل لإدخال تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الرعايه الصحيه (Healthcare ICT task force in Jordan) كتعاون بين صندوق الملك عبدالله الثاني للتنمية (KAFD) وجمعية تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في الاردن (شركة إنتاج)، وبدعم من شركة "سيسكو" الأولى عالميا في مجال المعدات الشبكية. حضر جلالته مع جون تشامبرز رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة سيسكو. بعد أن شكر الملك جون على دعمه للمشروع والأردن كشخص وكشركه وبعد الحديث عن المشروع من قبل ممثل شركه إنتاج، خرج الملك وجون وبدأ الحديث بتفاصيل المشروع، وأنه تم تطبيق جزء منه كإدخال شبكة اجهزه طبيه جديده ومتطوره واجهزه للكشف و تشخيص المرضى عن بُعد للوصول للمناطق النائيه على سبيل المثال، بدايةً في مستشفى الأمير حمزه الذي تطور بالسنين الماضيه -حسب ما قالو في الاجتماع، ثم طُلب من الجميع إبدأ رأيه واقتراحاته ... سيدنا أنا بدي احكيلك شو التعليق و الاقتراح الذي تحدث به بعدما خرجت ..
ما قدرت أمسك حالي لما حكو عن مستشفى الأمير حمزه وقلت: "أنا كنت في مستشفى الأمير حمزه قبل شهرين، حيث كانت جدتي بحاجة إلى عمليه ونامت هناك اسبوعين، لكن كانت أسوأ تجربة في حياتنا، الأطباء الذين رأيت هناك لا يعاملوا المرضى والمراجعين كبشر، عذبو جدتي وهم "يتحزّرو" إذا بنفعلها عمليه أو لأ، والدكتور بروح عندو أترجّاه و أحكيلو جدتي موجوعة تعال بقولي روح وبلحقك كمان شوي! والممرضين والممرضات مش فارقة عندهم وبشتغلو من ورى أيدهم وقلبهم وكأنهم مش بشر أبداً.. بس أنا ممكن أكون مبسوط إنو إدخال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاجهزه الحديثه ممكن يعمل صدمه للكل هناك يحسن و ييجيب طاقم جديد.. لكن أرجو منكم إنه كما تستثمرون بالاجهزه الطبيه ان تسثمرو بالأطباء والممرضين أيضاً لأنه الرعايه الصحيه بالنهايه ملموسه لو شو ما كان في اجهزه إذا ما في دكتور بعامل المريض كأخ لن نستفيد .. وسمعة المستشفيات بالأردن للأسف نزلت كتير بأخر سنين، المطلوب أطباء و ممرضين على كفاءة و مرتاحين بعملهم و رواتبهم، إلى جانب شبكة الأجهزة الحديثة".

في الليله الأردنيه في المتندى، حظيت بشرف كبير بلقاء الملك عبدالله الثاني والملكه رانيا العبدالله معاً، بعد لقائهما ظهراً. وتحدث بأول ما خطر ببالي وكان عن السرعة في الإصلاح.. قلت لجلالتك أنا أرى أنه معظم الناس يوافقون نهجكم في الإصلاح ومعظم التعديلات لكن مع مرور الوقت عدد هؤلاء يقل ما لم يلمسوه فعلياً، فأهم ما أراه في هذه المرحله هو السرعة في التطبيق، نحن بحاجه اليوم لأن نرى بعض خطوات الإصلاح مطبقة فعلياً على أرض الواقع والبعض المتبقي أن يكون مربوط بجدول زمني وتواريخ محدده تماماً، بأشهر اكثر من سنين، كل مرحله بتاريخ وبناء عليها مرحلة وتاريخ أخر لكي نطمئن على حاضر و مستقبل الاردن، وافقتني و بعدها أصبح هناك إزدحام بالأشخاص إلي بدهم يحكو معك فإتصورت ثم وقفت على بعد قريب منك .. بس أنا عنجد انسيت احكيلك .. يمكن عشان في كتير أشياء نفسي احكيلك ياها، يمكن عشان صار في إزدحام، ويمكن عشان أنا بس اشوفك "بنعجق" من هيبتك وحضورك وتواضعك ..
أنا يا سيدنا كان نفسي احكيلك كمان إنه "من أفضل التعديلات الدستوريه إلي لمسناها كان تخفيض عمر مرشح البرلمان إلى 25 سنه، لأنها فعلياً مثل ما قلت لنا بإجتماع الشباب وطلبت منا المشاركه أكثر حتى نبدل الوجوه والأفكار التقليديه الموجوده. مع أنه برأي يمكن بأول إنتخابات ما ينجح شاب بين ال-25 وال-30، بس أقلّها توسيع رقعة الترشيح بزيد التنافس وبوصل أشخاص أكثر كفاءة ... بس المشكله إنو النواب صوتو ضد هذا التعديل ومنعونا المشاركه ومنعو زيادة المنافسه، هاد غير انهم قلّو قيمتنا و قيمتهم!! في شباب اردنيه كتير على مقدرة إنه يشارك ويغير الواقع الصعب إلي عايشينه ويفهم نهجك بالإصلاح أكتر وقادر على الإبداع و التطبيق أكثر .. هم بحاجه إلى فرصة حقيقيه للمشاركه حتى يقدرو يساعدوك ويطورو الاردن".

في موقف طريف من جلالة الملك عبدالله.. سيدنا وهو طالع الحرس الملكي كان يفتح له طريق بين الحضور، ووقتها واحد من الحرس مسك إدي أو ذراعي ودفشها شوية صغيره، سيدنا مسك ايدو منعه وقاله لأ لأ شويّه شويّه، إبتسملي وغمزني ومشى تركني "معجوق" من الموقف .. أحد شخصيات مصر كان موجود جنبي وكتير "إنعجق" .. حكيتله هذا هو ملكنا.. غير عن رؤساء وملوك العالم كلهم، الله يخليلنا ياه :)

سيدنا شكراً كتير على كل جهودك وشكراً انك بتنصت لحكي الجميع وخصوصاً الشباب ... أنا بس شب بحب الاردن، مع اني تعبان فيها أنا و عيلتي، بس بحاول جهدي أطبق انتمائي عملياً دايماً و برضو مقصّر، بس أمنيتي إنه الأردن تصير أحسن بلد و كل حدا فيها يحبها، يرتاح فيها وينتميلها ويعرف كيف يحافظ عليها ويطورها. شكراً سيدنا، بتمنى توصلك رسالتي مجدداً وبتمنى أحكي معك اكتر قريباً :)

I had the honor to meet His Majesty King Abdullah II again, after his meeting with the young Jordanian activists, during the World Economic Forum 2011 in the Dead Sea - where I was a panelist in the Role of Social Media session. I met his majesty twice there, in the special session on Healthcare ICT task force, and spontaneously during the Jordanian Night in the World Economic Forum.

The special meeting on Healthcare ICT taskforce in Jordan, which is a collaboration between the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), and Jordan's Information and Communications Technology Association (Intaj), with support from "Cisco", started with King Abdullah II honoring John Chambers -Chairman and CEO of Cisco- for his continuous support as a person and as a company, and after a quick demo on the project by Intaj representative, the King and John left, then the detailed conversation started. Whereas it was mentioned that some new devices are here already to support multiple functions as remote diagnoses, and some have been applied as Hakeem eHealth Program in Prince Hamzah Public Hospital that has been dramatically developed lately -as they said. Then they asked for comments and suggestions, so here I want to tell you your majesty what comments and suggestions I gave after you left ..
When they mentioned Prince Hamzah Hospital, I couldn't help it and I said: "I've been to Prince Hamzah Hospital before couple of months, where my grandmother had to have an urgent surgery, and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences ever, the Doctors and Nurses there were not dealing with patients in any human way, they spent ages trying to "guess" if the operation was risky or not. When I went to the Doctor and told him my grandmother is in sever pain he replied "ok just go now and I'll follow you later", Nurses don't have any sense of urgency either and they don't care at all. So I might be glad that this high-tech and online systems might shock their system and bring a new staff. Yet I suggest you invest in Doctors and Nurses as you invest in devices, because medication is physical at the end of the day if you had all devices that doctors don't use or don't care to deal with patients as human, devices won't do anything. We need both, as unfortunately the reputation of Public Hospitals and Healthcare in Jordan has been going down lately!".

Then during the Jordanian Night, I had the great honor to meet King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah together, after meeting them at noon. I spoke what first came into my mind which was about reform acceleration.. Your Majesty I told you "I think that most of citizens are agreeing and supporting your steady approach in reform besides most of the constitutional amendments but over time the number of these could be decreasing if they didn't touch changes on the ground, so what's importantly needed today is that reform should be quick, we need to be really quick, whereas today we need to see some implemented steps and achievements to be already on ground and in place while other steps should be associated with milestones and specific time frames, where each stage is tied with a date and upon that the next stage is built on and tied to another specified date.. in order to insure the present and the future of Jordan", you agreed and then there were a lot of people who want to talk to you too so I took a picture and then stood at a close distance to you .. But I forgot to tell you, I really forgot.. maybe because there are million things I want to say to you, maybe because there were many people waiting, maybe because when I see you I get confused and amused by your great, royal yet humble presence ..
I forgot to tell you that "One of the best constitutional amendments I sensed was decreasing the age of parliament candidates to 25, as it goes with what you told us at the youth meeting and it's a great practical step to replace the traditional minds and leaders in here, as you urged us youth to. But the current Parliament has voted against this article and prevented us to participate and they even insulted us Jordanian youth, I was really sad for this rejection by the Parliament as it prevents us youth from taking real roles to change the mentalities and regulations, besides it widens the scale of competition hence it brings more qualified Parliament Members. We have great Jordanian youth in here and they are waiting for real opportunities to make a real change, as they understand you more and will help you more in developing Jordan."

In a funny moment.. His Majesty King Abdullah II then was about to leave, so the Royal Guards were protecting and opening a channel for him, meanwhile one of them pushed my arm slightly, so the king hold his hand off and prevented him saying: No, no, easy, easy.. winked at me and walked away leaving me in shock of the situation! One of the new Egyptian figures was there shocked also so I told him, this is our king he's different than all other kings and presidents you'll ever see :)

Thank you your majesty for all of your efforts and for listening to all and especially youth, I'm just a guy who is addicted to Jordan - Jordanoholic, tho I might be too exhausted of how things go in here - me and my family, yet I try my best to always take my belonging into practice. I have a wish for Jordan to be the best country in the world where all residents love it, practically belong to it, and work on developing it. I wish my letter gets received again, and I wish to talk to you more soon :)
