The AFC Asian Cup 2011, the ultimate Asian Football Tournament held in Qatar has started on January 7 lasting till January 29, is heating the cold weather especially in Jordan as Jordan Football National Team [منتخب الأردن لكرة القدم] has already achieved great results so far!

Our great Jordan Football National Team (known as النشامى Al Nashama, meaning: manly, courageous, heroic braves or chivalrous) has scored a great victory yesterday over Saudi Arabia - KSA, 1-0. After a late draw by Japan 1-1 on January 9. Scoring 4 points in the 1st two matches in Group B is giving Jordan Football Team, the only team who never lost in AsiaCup so far, the chance to qualify to the second round, awaiting to tie or win Syria in the next game depending on other games results.

A stoppage-time header from Maya Yoshida rescued Japan as the three-time Asian Cup champions drew 1-1 with Jordan in their AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ Group B opener at Qatar Sports Club Stadium on Sunday. Hasan Abdel Fattah stunned Alberto Zaccheroni’s side when his deflected shot gave Jordan the lead seconds before half time.

Jordan 1-0 Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia crashed out of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ after Baha' Abdelrahman's first-half goal sealed a 1-0 win for Jordan at Al Rayyan Stadium on Thursday. Saudi Arabia may have changed their coach but it made little difference to the result as Abdelrahman struck three minutes before the break in the Group B encounter to now give Jordan every chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

منتخب الاردن يقتحم "باب الحارة" ويقهر نسور منتخب سورية

صعد منتخبنا الوطني إلى الدور ربع النهائي من مسابقة كأس آسيا لكرة القدم، المقامة حالياً في قطر، بعد فوزه اليوم الاثنين على نظيره السوري بهدفين مقابل هدف واحد، ضمن مباريات الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة للمجموعة الثانية. وكان المنتخب السوري السباق للتسجيل في الدقيقة 15، عن طريق مهاجمه محمد زينو الذي تابع الكرة المرتدة من الحارس عامر شفيع داخل منطقة الست ياردات في المرمى. وأدرك منتخبنا الوطني التعادل في الدقيقة 30، عن طريق المدافع السوري علي ذياب (خطأً في مرمى فريقه)، بعدما أخطأ في تشتيت عرضية عامر ذيب ليضعها من فوق حارس مرماه مصعب بلحوس. وأضاف عدي الصيفي الهدف الثاني لـ "النشامى" في الدقيقة 59، بعدم وصلته كرة طويلة سبق المدافع السوري علي ذياب إليها ليضعها في الشباك السورية.

Jordan exit Asian Cup with heads held high!

Doha: Jordan coach Adnan Hamad feels his players can hold their heads high despite seeing their AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 run come to an end with a 2-1 quarter-final defeat to Uzbekistan at Khalifa Stadium. Ulugbek Bakaev's double immediately after the interval saw Uzbekistan through to the last four for the first time in their relatively short history as Bashar Bani Yaseen's reply shortly after the hour mark was not enough for Hamad's men to remain in the competition.
